Zenne y Frontera is a blend of traditional lambics that matured on old authentic sherry casks. 750ml one bottle.
For this Zenne y Frontera, we blended lambikken originating from seven different sherry barrels; three Amontillado barrels, two Oloroso barrels and two Palo Cortado barrels. The barrels were sourced with two different bodegas: Josefa PĂ©rez Rosado (closed) and FernĂ¡ndez-Gao (started up again in 2014).
The weighted average age of this lambik is 28 months at the moment of bottling. Three quarters of the five different lambikken used was brewed by us, and about half of the cereals of these brews were Pajot-grown. We did not blend in young lambik.
