For this small batch Druif, we blended a portion of two grape lambikken before ageing them further on a wooden barrel. Both the Spätburgunder (German name for Pinot Noir) and the Portugieser grapes went into maceration end of September 2022 and we aged the grape lambic for another five months. Lambikken used were one-, two- and three years old, coming off four different barrels and originating from nine different brews. The weighted average age of this blend surpasses the 30 months upon bottling. Final fruit intensity of 535 grams of grapes per litre of Druif.
